When in doubt, protect the person on the other side

Ask whether your post is accurate, necessary and respectful. Pezani is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the relevant local emergency service first.

1. What these guidelines cover

These guidelines apply to content and behaviour on Pezani, including business profiles, listings, deals, events, photos, reviews, Quick Finder requests, responses, direct messages and support reports. They work alongside the Terms of Use. If local law sets a higher standard, local law applies.

Businesses and people may have different roles on Pezani, but everyone is expected to help keep the service useful, honest and safe.

2. What belongs on Pezani

Useful local information

Accurate businesses, services, products, places, deals and events that people can genuinely find or use.

Clear requests

Specific needs, budgets, locations and photos that help a relevant business decide whether it can respond.

Respectful conversation

Questions, answers, follow-ups and feedback that move a real request or relationship forward.

Local perspective

Practical knowledge about cities and communities, shared without exposing somebody else's private information.

3. Content and behaviour we do not allow

Do not use Pezani to:

  • threaten, harass, bully, stalk, shame, discriminate against or encourage harm to another person;
  • publish hate, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual content or graphic violence;
  • impersonate a person, business or public authority, create fake profiles, manipulate reviews or misrepresent a location;
  • run scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, fake offers, counterfeit sales, prohibited goods or unlawful services;
  • publish misleading prices, availability, qualifications, licences, guarantees or claims that could put someone at risk;
  • share passwords, one-time codes, full payment credentials, identity documents or another person's private contact information without a lawful reason;
  • send spam, bulk messages, repeated unwanted requests, malicious links, malware or content designed to disrupt the service; or
  • scrape, copy, reverse engineer or collect Pezani content or contact details for a purpose users did not expect.

We may remove content or limit access even where content is not illegal if it is deceptive, unsafe, abusive, disruptive or inconsistent with a trustworthy local discovery service.

4. Standards for business listings

Business owners and authorised managers must keep names, categories, locations or service areas, contact routes, hours, prices, offers and event details accurate. Only claim qualifications, licences, partnerships or outcomes that can be supported. Honour the commitments made in a listing and update or close information that is no longer true.

Do not create duplicate profiles, pose as a competitor, buy fake engagement, target people with discriminatory offers, publish a location you do not control or use a Quick Finder response to pressure someone into an unrelated sale. Pezani may request evidence, label a profile, unpublish content or restrict a business while a concern is reviewed.

5. Quick Finder requests and conversations

Describe the need honestly and share only what a business needs to decide whether it can help. Do not use a request to test, bait, threaten or harvest contact details. Businesses should respond only when they can reasonably serve the selected place and category, and should state important limitations, total costs, timing and next steps clearly.

Take care when meeting or paying someone you discovered through Pezani. Verify identity and details independently, do not send money solely because a profile appears in the app, and move sensitive documents through an appropriate secure channel. Pezani does not guarantee a response, transaction, provider, price or outcome.

6. Photos, reviews and other content

Upload only content you created or have permission to use. Do not post a person's face, home, identity document, vehicle registration, private conversation or other identifying detail without a lawful reason and appropriate permission. Reviews should describe a genuine experience, avoid personal attacks and never be exchanged for undisclosed payment or favour.

7. Report content and block users

If something feels unsafe, misleading or abusive, use the in-app Report control on the relevant listing, message or profile and include the reason. For direct conversations, use Block to stop further contact from that user. Do not confront someone or share their private information in response to a concern.

If the in-app controls are unavailable or the issue is urgent, email support@pezani.app with “Safety report” in the subject, the profile or listing link, what happened, and any safe-to-share evidence. Never include passwords or verification codes.

8. How Pezani responds

Musafari Life uses a combination of automated signals, user reports and human review appropriate to the issue. We may ask for context, restrict visibility, add a warning, remove content, limit messaging, suspend an account, close an account or refer an immediate safety concern to the relevant authority where lawful and appropriate. We do not promise that every report will lead to a particular outcome or disclose another person's private information.

We prioritise credible threats, exploitation, child safety, fraud, impersonation, privacy exposure and repeated abuse. We keep records needed to investigate and improve safety under the Privacy Policy.

9. Appeals and corrections

If we remove your content or limit your account and you believe we misunderstood it, email support@pezani.app with “Community guidelines appeal” in the subject. Explain what you own, what changed or what context we missed. We may restore content when it meets these guidelines, but we may keep restrictions needed for safety, legal compliance or repeated abuse.

10. Contact and accountability

Questions about these guidelines, a report or a safety concern can be sent to support@pezani.app. You can also visit Support for practical help or review the Terms of Use.
